"The dark woods are now closed to tourists!!"

"To pass through the woods, you need a password that only local people know."

You think it would be better to go, as he doesn't appear to be joking!!

"Anyone who comes here usually comes to buy a pass to get into the Pyramid. There's nothing else beyond this shop, other than the pyramid. It costs £5000 and I only take cash!"

Eerie Meadow of Pyramisa

This is the meadow of Pyramisa. This leads to many of Pyramisa's main attractions, including the Pyramid and Secret Gardens. However, there is a great fog over the meadow at this time of the morning, so you think it would be best to go back to the crossroads.

Here is the town centre of Pyramisa. Most of the stores are closed currently, but come back later. The town market is open, you go over to see whats on offer.

To the North appears to be an odd-looking building, but you cannot get there yet, as the path to there is currently closed at this time of the day. There is also an elderly lady nearby.

You start to dig in gardens and it doesn't take you too long until you discover something of interest! It's an old-looking coin. You call Jenny over to show her what you've found.

"Well done! I cannot believe you've found something good so quickly! I've been searching here for weeks and have found nothing!" she says.

Secret Gardens of Pyramisa - with spade, searching for Bethany

As you arrive, you realise that this is the Secret Gardens of Pyramisa! They are beautiful! The only way to get to here is via the Eerie Meadow, so the only way out is back to the meadow.

It is so peaceful here. It would be the perfect place to come when you are in need of quiet.

There is a young girl there. Surely, couldn't be Bethany.. could it?
She sees you and calls you over.

"Hi, I'm Jenny. I don't usually see many people here."

You reply by saying this is the first time you've been here. You also ask what she is looking for.

"I often search for interesting things, Come join me?"

"You're here! Finally!" He shouts.

You approach him with caution and ask about what he means.

"I knew you'd come. I need your help. You will help, wont you?"

As you approach the odd-looking building, you can see that it is a shop. It sure isn't a busy shop! You could almost say it was hidden away, being so far away from the town centre. It doesn't look like the friendliest of shops. You decide to go into the store anyway.

You are back at the crossroads. The town is to the east and there appears to be a meadow to the North, leading to a Pyramid. Seeing as you need to return the cat to it's owner, you need to go East.

Dark Woods - Carrying a fish from Lake Pyra

You head back through the woods fairly quickly - you don't want to hang around here for too long again! As you pace through the woods, you can here a strange noise behind you. You turn around. It's the cat meowing! Why is the cat suddenly so happy to see you!? Of course, it's the fish you took!

You pick the cat up and notice it has a tag on there.

"My name is Ziggy. If lost, please take me to my owner in Pyramisa town centre, Ela"

You should probably take the cat to the town centre now.

Lake Pyra

You come to a clearing from the woods to Lake Pyra. It is a complete contrast from the dark woods you've just come from! It's peaceful with picturesque scenery. You walk closer to the beautifully clear-watered lake. You can actually see every detail of the lake-bed - every rock and every creature. There is an abundance of fresh water fish swimming happily.

Unfortunately, there is a dead fish on the side of the lake. You choose to take it - it'll make a nice dinner for you later.

You only have one direction to go and that's back to the Dark Woods

Dark Woods - Check out the feint lights

You have chosen to check out the two feint reflections of lights. You approach cautiously. As you get closer, the lights start to move. You start to give chase as the lights are moving away from you fairly quickly.

The lights appear to be climbing a tree! Whatever can they be?!? As you get closer, you see that it is just a cat. Why would a cat be in a dark woods? It appears to be scared. You try to coerse the cat from the tree, but it's obvious that the cat is too scared and will not come down for anything!

Exploring the Dark Woods of Pyramisa

You decide to head west to the Woods. As you walk through deeper into woods, you feel it getting darker and darker. This is not a place where you'd like to stay for long. There appears to be two feint reflections of light ahead. This is not the place you should be when you're alone.

Chapter 1 - Home

You moved to Pyramisa yesterday in search of a quieter life - having previously lived in a major city. Pyramisa is a small idyllic town where nothing much happens, you should be happy here. Your home is situated in the South West of Pyramisa.

You decide to explore the town today for the first time. Leaving your house, you head Northwards and come to a crossroads. There appears to be a woods to the West, a meadow to the North and the town centre to the east. Beyond the meadow, appears to be a Pyramid.
